#BeyondSustainability - Los Angeles event!
In order to thrive as a society, we have to go BEYOND SUSTAINABILITY - creativemigration.eventbrite.com
The goal of this fundraiser is to expand Creative Migration’s programming – producing documentaries about art and social engagement – to focus on implementing sustainable practices for film, art, travel, culture and lifestyle.
We are working with Sustain LA to make this a ZERO WASTE event. This is inspired by making POST NEW BILLS: The Story of Green Patriot Posters, which is the only American film accepted into Project Green, a sustainable filmmaking initiative.
Featuring
- Organic, vegetarian fare by Stuffed Animals
- Small-batch, direct trade coffee by Edison Coffee Roasters
- Local, boutique kombucha tea by Better Booch
- Handcrafted, brewed beer by Angel City Brewery
- Los Angeles superstar DJs: Sean Patrick of the Bystanders and Dirty Dave
- Expert presentations: Creative Director Guillaume Wolf; Renewable Energy/Sustainability Experts Elena Christopoulos; Good Planet Media Founder/CEO Michael Kaliski; Living Homes Founder/CEO Steve Glenn; and Environmental Artist Cristopher Cichocki.

“It’s here. Radical changes of weather patterns are going to be affecting a lot of people. The arts are something that help people understand that, they’re kind of shock absorbers... Imagination is the most renewable and sustainable thing we can really have as people.”
