Join us for a special screening of Post New Bills: The Story of Green Patriot Posters — a film that tells the story behind the project we’re highlighting in our first exhibition in Chicago: Green Patriot Posters: The Revolution Will Be Designed.
In 2008 art collective, The Canary Project, launched a worldwide effort inviting designers, illustrators, photographers, and artists to create poster-form artwork relating to any aspect of climate change and environmental justice. To date, over 500 Green Patriot Posters have been collected. See a selected collection and enjoy the film with us on October 19, 2016 at 6:30pm CT at Xavier, a new apartment building in Cabrini Green.
We’ll have refreshments and a Skype Q&A with Susannah Tantemsapya, of Creative Migration, who created the film that showcases this amazing project.
